SSO memory error when deploying to PCF 1.12

Environment

Pivotal Cloud Foundry 1.12
Single Sign-On for PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry®) 1.4.x

Symptom

When deploying Single Sign-On (SSO) on PCF 1.12, the identity-service-broker job fails with the following error:

2017-09-10T13:21:08.66-0400 [CELL/0] OUT Starting health monitoring of container
2017-09-10T13:40:08.74-0400 [APP/PROC/WEB/0] ERR Cannot calculate JVM memory configuration: There is insufficient memory remaining for heap. Memory limit 512M is less than allocated memory 681029K (-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=240M, -XX:MaxDirectMemorySize=10M, -XX:MaxMetaspaceSize=99641K, -XX:CompressedClassSpaceSize=18188K, -Xss1M * 300 threads)
2017-09-10T13:40:08.76-0400 [APP/PROC/WEB/0] OUT Exit status 1

Cause

SSO for PCF 1.4.x is not compatible with PCF 1.12.

Workaround

To work around this issue, increase the amount of memory for SSO from the app default 512 MB to 1 GB and redeploy.
