You might see the below error message on the tab "HDB Queries" at Pivotal Command Center.
"Cannot retrieve data"
Possible cause and fix
- Admin node might not be present in the pg_hba.conf file at the HDB Master due to which connection from admin node could not be made. You might see error message in the HDB master logs like below
psql: FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "10.14.233.40", user "gpadmin", database "postgres", SSL offFIX: Update $MASTER_DATA_DIRECTORY/pg_hba.conf on HDB Master to allow connections from Admin host and do a reload using
- The gpadmin user password has changed in HDB (hawq) but not in the commander database. This error will be observed in HDB (hawq) master logs located in $MASTER_DATA_DIRECTORY/pg_log

You can test pcc connectivity to HDB master database by running the following command. Please make sure the hostname and port match the HDB master configuration.
