Software environment on a Greenplum DCA is tightly controlled
If customer wants to use 3rd party software, they are required to get approval to install any 3rd party software on a DCA.
This is managed by customers EMC Account Manager, who can take the requirement and generate a Request for Product Qualification (RPQ). The RPQ is then evaluated to see if there are any implications for DCA operations and GPDB performance.
