Exporting PivotalVRP graphs and data

Sometimes users may want to analyze historical data or create reports from PivotalVRP data.  In order to assist with this task, all graphical charts and report data within PivotalVRP can be exported.

Graphs:

All graphs can be exported in JPEG format.  In order to export any graphical report from PivotalVRP, right-click the selected graph and select "export graph to image".

Once selected a window will pop-up with a link to the image.  You can click the link in order to open the image in a new browser tab (or window).

If you get an error just replace the server name with the Pivotal server IP.

The exported image is in standard jpg format.

Data:

All graphs data can be exported in .csv format.  To export data from a PivotalVRP report, right-click any of the data columns and select "export to .csv".

All the data available in the PivotalVRP report will be exported in a .csv file.

Once exported a window will pop-up with a link to the data.  You can click the link in order to open the data in a new browser tab (or window).

If you get an error just replace the server name with the Pivotal server IP.

You can import the data into excel, a spreadsheet program or any other program that supports .csv file.

Export files (jpg & csv) location:

Once exported the data and graphic files are kept on the PivotalVRP server.

They are located within the Glassfish folder, the path is C:\Program Files\MoreDB\Glassfish\glassfish\domains\MoreVRP\docroot\Exports.

The Exports folder will contain a folder (or sometimes few folders) which contain the exported data.

The exported data can be used for distribution within performance groups or DBA's and also in order to create performance reports such as the one attached.
