Resolution

1. Log into the affected host via SSH

2. Review the repositories that are available on the host by running "yum repolist":

[root@dn2 ~]# yum repolist
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: mirror.sov.uk.goscomb.net
* extras: mirror.sov.uk.goscomb.net
* updates: mirror.sov.uk.goscomb.net

3. Review the list of repositories that are available. For all clients to install correctly the following repositories must be available:

  • AMBARI-xxx..
  • PHD-X.X...
  • PHD-UTILS-X.X...

4. If any repositories are missing, log into the Ambari host and copy the repositories files from /etc/yum.repos.d/ to the /etc/yum.repos.d/ on the affected host.

5. Once the repository files are in place, re-run yum repolist and confirm the repositories are displaying correctly.

6. Retry installing the clients.
