OS patches (Redhat) for hardware that a Greenplum Database is hosted on

Environment

Product Version
Pivotal Greenplum (GPDB)  4.3.8
OS RHEL 6.x

Purpose

At times customer's may contact Pivotal Support requesting OS patches for their Hardware that a Greenplum Database is running on.

Resolution

Pivotal do not provide any OS Patches for the hardware where a Greenplum Database is running on. If a customer has a DCA, then they will need to contact the EMC DCA Support team to request any required DCA OS patches. A ticket can be open at "support.emc.com".

If the customer's hardware is a non DCA, then they will need to contact their hardware vendor for any required OS patches.
