gppkg Installation Failed with the SSH Error

Environment

  • Pivotal Greenplum Database (GPDB) 4.3.x
  • Operating System- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x

Symptom

When attempting to install pgcrypto package. It returned following errors:

The RSA host key for sdwx.gphd.local has changed,
and the key for the corresponding IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
is unchanged. This could either mean that
DNS SPOOFING is happening or the IP address for the host
and its host key have changed at the same time.

Resolution

1.gpssh -f hostfile
2.mv/home/gpadmin/.ssh/known_hosts/home/gpadmin/.ssh/known_hosts_orig
3.exit
4.gpssh-exkeys -f hostfile
5.try gppkg again.
