.NET Core GemFire Native Client

Do you have any plans for .NET Core GemFire Native Client support ?

What about GemFire REST API (utils) support for .NET Core?

We wanted to run for .NET Core linux docker containers to have the ability to access GemFire cache.

Hi Senthilkumar, currently the Gemfire Native Client does not support .NET Core. The current target is .NET Framework 4.5.2. With that said, we are keeping a close eye on the .NET Core project and have plans to provide a Gemfire Client that can work with .NET Core applications running on PCF.

Thanks Akihiro

Thanks Addison, will the .net core support planned ONLY for applications running on PCF? What about .net core applications running outside of PCF?

We have a situation where we have GemFire cluster available and wanted to leverage Native Client Libraries with .NET Core apps to use GemFire's Eventing/CQ feature. Would this be possible in near future?

And our workloads planned to run inside Docker container on Red Hat.

With our current roadmap, the Gemfire Native Client will not support .NET Core for some time.  However, a new bespoke C# client is being written that will support .NET Core.  However, in the earlier versions, it will not have CQ functionality.  This client will work outside of PCF as well.
